First version. Native MacOS application that was designed for our in-house use. It gave us a unique competitive advantage due to the speed of initial calculations but also the ability to make changes quickly without having to track loads manually through the building.
First commercial version. Ported to windows to work natively with our Revit centered work flow. This version used a hybrid design. Main user interface was a native windows application. The calculation engine ran in the cloud and handled all of the user licensing and calculations. Results were then sent back to the client application. This worked well but as projects got large, the web / cloud component became the limiting factor and large projects felt slow.
Multi-Platform native application. Removed all web / cloud functions. Everything now runs locally use full power of the client machine. Speed increase was approx 300X. Added additional features to design all elements of the load path. Under constant development with new updates each month.
